The mission of the ACC is to provide quality English/Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies professional development to the educators of Arkansas. Updates on Arkansas’s changing content standards and professional development opportunities for teachers will be the central focus of the conference.
“We’re thrilled to be co-hosting the annual ACC event,” said ASTA Executive Director Dr. Michele Ballentine-Linch. “Educators are able to share their work and present sessions based on successful classroom practice. We highly encourage educators from across the state to attend this premier conference!”
The 2015 ACC is designed to explore new and future standards to provide educators the tools and understanding for classroom application. ADE-approved PD sessions, selected short courses and workshops in the areas of Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies provide ample learning opportunities for educators of all subjects and grade levels.
Educators will enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience at the cultural center of Arkansas in the River Market District where museums, art galleries, and historical sites provide a perfect backdrop for this professional conference
